TransShape came about when a family member came out and wanted to use body tape rather than a binding garment, through countless hours and research we realised the need for easily accessible body tape for transgender people in Aotearoa.

How did the name TransShape come about?

We wanted a name that all people of the rainbow community could identitfy with. TransShape by definition means "to change into another shape", this connected with us. With one word it described our intentions to help others achieve their desired body shape in a simple way.

Our mission is to provide our community with gender affirming products that offer quality, reliability and affordability.
